Directed Lighting is a lighting and grip rental company founded by New York gaffer Daniel Choy Boyar in 2009. We serve productions large and small from indie features to commercials with a focus on quality industry-standard equipment, personal service, and value. While we are constantly growing and expanding our inventory, we have excellent relationships with other vendors that allow us to provide everything your production needs even if we don't have it in stock.
In 2012, in partnership with fellow filmmaker Caio Ribeiro, Directed Power was formed as sister company to specialize in providing generator rentals of all sizes from portable EU-series Honda generators, to a LitePower 500A van generator.
